Comfort My People Ministries (CMP) finds its meaning in the words that God gave Prophet Isaiah concerning the situation of His people, Israel. (Isa. 40:1-2) If there were any people that ever had need of those same words as did God speak to His prophet, Isaiah, they are the people of Rwanda. The agony of war and genocide of 1994 will continue to impact on these people until healing finds its way into their hearts through the power of love and God’s holy Word.
It is in this regard that CMP draws its inspiration and initiation to bring the message and action of hope to the African people – in Rwanda.
Our Mission is our vision to create consensus and goodwill, mobilize resources, and build capacity to recognize, appreciate, comfort, encourage, and empower new generation of African women, children, youth, poor and victims of war, genocide and HIV/AIDS out of their economic, social, and emotional difficulties into a life of freedom, peacefulness, productivity and hope.
